The AT2800 is a high-performance x-ray scanner specifically designed for passenger vehicles and small cargo, including minibuses. It offers superior penetration capabilities compared to the AT2900 model. The x-ray system operates from top to bottom, providing a clearer view than side scans for detecting contraband, illegal drugs, weapons, and other hazardous items. This system is equipped with an automated gantry rail that moves cars and vehicles forward without requiring drivers or passengers to enter the scanning area, ensuring zero radiation exposure. It is part of the cargo and vehicle inspection system family and complies with ANSI 43.17 regulations for general use.

It is equipped with a gantry rail system that can move vehicles automatically, keeping drivers and passengers outside the scanning area, ensuring zero radiation exposure.

High penetration
The AT2800 features a 300kV generator producing x-rays from top to bottom, offering high-quality images of inspected objects through 60 mm of steel at speeds of 10 km/h.

High quality X-ray images
To ensure accurate detection of concealed objects, the AT2800 provides images with 2% contrast sensitivity and the ability to detect a 0.8mm copper wire.

Dual energy imaging
The AT2800 includes automatic color coding for materials separation (3 colors), helping operators distinguish between organic, non-organic, and metal materials for better detection of dangerous objects.

Radiation safety
The AT2800 ensures low radiation levels for both drivers and passengers, complying with the ANSI 43.17 standard. It also protects the operator, and the inspection portal includes a video surveillance system to prevent unnecessary inspections of passersby.

Automated license plate recognition (option)
With an optional camera, the AT2800 can identify and store the license plate number of each scanned vehicle.

Under-vehicle surveillance (option)
Upon request, the AT2800 can be provided with a video surveillance system for under-vehicle inspection.
